Unfortunately, COVID-19 is causing havoc in everything, including Dota 2. Valve decided to postpone the 4th Major and Minor. In addition, pretty much all LAN Dota 2 events are now cancelled.

Just when we thought that there might not be anything to watch, WePlay! announced a very interesting event. They call it WeSave! Charity Play and as the name suggests, it’s aimed at gathering money to fight the coronavirus outbreak. Let’s take a look and see what to expect.

What do we know about the event?

Even though it is going to be an online event, it will still bring together some of the best teams in the world. Taking place from the 20th to the 26th of March, WeSave! Charity Play touts a $120,000 prize pool.

The hallmark of this event is that we will have a total of 22 teams. That’s right, 22 of the absolute best teams in the world will go head to head. Here are all of the teams that will be taking part in this remarkable and historic tournament:

Of course, we will also get the chance to watch Dota’s famous casters. Including names like Jorien “Sheever” van der Heijden, Owen “ODPixel” Davies Kyle, and more. The tournament will be cast in English and Russian.
