Toronto Ultra stunned the Call of Duty League as final placings are decided ahead of postseason.

The final home series event of the CDL regular season, CDL Toronto, has passed as we now look forward to the playoffs. Toronto Ultra shocked fans as they won their home series, beating Atlanta FaZe in the final.

Their path to the final was anything but easy as they took down top-seeded teams on the way.

Toronto Ultra’s path to victory

Ultra began their weekend with a game five win over OpTic Gaming LA. They then moved on to face Chicago Huntsmen in the qualifier match.

The boys on Toronto took it to a fifth map as things looked shaky for the Huntsmen. Ultra clutched up the series and things looked promising for the Canadian org.

Dallas Empire awaited them in the semi final after sweeping the Mutineers in their knockout match. Toronto carried on their impressive form and beat Dallas 3-1, booking their spot in the final.

The grand final between Toronto Ultra and Atlanta FaZe did not disappoint as the teams went back and forth in the series.

After a tight series, map five would be the decider. Ultra’s Methodz pulled off a ninja defuse early on and clutched a 1v2 in round 11 as they surprised everyone and took the home series win.

What will the CDL postseason look like?
