TNC Predator eliminated from ESL One Birmingham Online

Dota Gods

ESL One Birmingham Online began only a few days ago. The event is divided into different regions, one of which is SEA. After a couple of days of back-and-forth action in the group stage, we now know of all the teams who saw elimination. Shockingly, TNC Predator was among them.

A favourite underperforms

Although most would place them among the favourites, TNC Predator failed to impress. Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic, TNC hasn’t achieved much. As you know, they established themselves as the best team in SEA prior to the unfortunate virus that changed the way we watch Dota 2.

During the event, TNC just didn’t put up a challenge for their enemies. As a result, the SEA powerhouse suffered four losses in a row, each with a score of 2-0. Needless to say, this meant that the team had no chance of moving forward.

Despite the run of losses, they managed to dust themselves up in their final series against Reality Rift. Similar to TNC, RR also had issues and didn’t perform as well as expected. In the end, after a three games series, it was TNC that delivered the final blow and secured themselves their first and only victory in the tournament.

Following the loss, Reality Rift was also eliminated from the event.

Don’t forget to watch the last remaining days of this incredible tournament. Unlike TNC, Fnatic and BOOM Esports managed to survive the group stage. Now, they will go head-to-head in Winners’ Round 1. The other two teams managing to escape the group stage were Geek Fam and Team Adroit. However, they will have to play in the lower bracket, meaning that every game will count.
