Dota2 Nigma

WePlay! recently hosted the second Minor of the 2019-2020 DPC. Despite not being a Major, this tournament was extremely interesting to watch as it brought together some of the best teams in the world.

After a couple of days of action, it was Nigma that took the win. Now, two weeks after that, WePlay! decided to invite the same team to their own tournament. Even though it’s not included in the DPC, the Tug of War: Mad Moon will still sport a $300,000 prize pool, making it a pretty significant event.

Participating teams

Despite winning the Minor, the TI 7 champions were not able to perform to their fullest in the following Major. It seems they’ll still need some time to adjust to the current meta after taking a long post-TI 9 break.

Needless to say, this event will make for the perfect bootcamp before the Los Angeles Major begins. However, it won’t be a walk in the park for Nigma, as they will be up against some of the best teams in the world.

Talking of those teams, currently playing the event are:

  • Team Secret
  • Gambit Esports
  • Natus Vincere
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • Infamous
  • Royal Never Give Up

We are still yet to see the final team that will join these goliaths.

This tournament will begin on the 19th of February and ends on the 23rd. If you’re interested, you can watch the event live in Kyiv, Ukraine. However, if you won’t be able to attend the event, simply follow WePlay!’s Twitch Channel. Needless to say, you can expect some of the most famous casters and analysts, so it will definitely be a fun experience.
