New York CoD franchise announce first 5-man roster for 2020 league

The first official 5-man roster for the 2020 CoD season has been announced and it is impressive to say the least. Over the past few days, the New York franchise has been revealing their selected players and the full line-up is now complete. Let’s take a look at the players that make up this talented roster:

Thomas “ZooMaa” Paparatto

The first player to be revealed in the New York squad was none other than the “Italian Stallion”, ZooMaa. He began competing back in Call of Duty Ghosts and has represented FaZe Clan for the majority of his career. His 2018/19 season did not go to plan as FaZe Clan failed to win an event. He will be looking to bounce back next year and get back to his winning ways.

ZooMaa is a well-respected player amongst the competitive community, known for his ability with an SMG. It will be interesting to see how he will adapt to the slower-paced gameplay of Modern Warfare next year.

Donovan “Temp” Laroda

Next to be announced was former Splyce player, Temp. Despite the lack of championships to his name, Temp has recently proven himself to be one of the top players in Call of Duty. His individual performances shone throughout the Black Ops 4 season and he will undoubtedly look to continue this form into the new year.

Temp has always been partial to a bit of controversy and with the possible return of Doug “Censor” Martin, we may well see some juicy storylines and rivalries next season.

Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi

Accuracy is known to be one of the best AR players in the game. His team didn’t find much success in Black Ops 4, however he won three majors with Team Kaliber in the WWII season. Accuracy has earned a total of $230,453 from 35 tournaments during his career. It will be interesting to see how he fits in with the squad as most of the players are former teammates.

Trei “Zer0” Morris

Fourth to be revealed was British player, Zer0. After spending most of his career in the UK, Zer0 has recently moved to the US where he teamed with FaZe Clan last year. He began competing in Advanced Warfare and has always teamed with big names in the UK CoD scene.

Being the only Brit on the roster, it will be fascinating to witness how the team gels and progresses throughout the year.

Dillon “Attach” Price

The fifth player to be revealed, thus completing the line-up, is former FaZe Clan member, Attach. The 22-year-old SMG player has been competing since 2013. In 2015, Attach won the Call of Duty Championship at just 18 years of age. He has since been at the top of competitive CoD and will continue to be there representing the NYC franchise.

Attach’s CoD career sky-rocketed after winning Champs and last year he was named in the All-Star squad.

NYC CoD’s head coach will be ex-pro player, John “Revan” Boble. Alongside him will be co-founder of CoDStats, “JPKrez”, who is their analyst for the 2020 season.

More franchises are expected to make team announcements in the coming weeks, with some rosters only being partially revealed. As rostermania continues, be sure to follow Dart Frog on TwitterInstagram and Facebook for all the latest Call of Duty news and analysis.
