Fnatic wins the BTS Pro Series SEA

Dota 2 Finals

It probably doesn’t come as a surprise that Fnatic have been crowned the champions of this spectacular tournament. The SEA powerhouse absolutely ripped through the competition after finishing the tournament with only one loss. In fact, it was BOOM Esports that managed to take a game away from Fnatic. Before this series, they hadn’t lost a single map, which is a clear sign of the current strength of the team.

The BTS Pro Series was an online event featuring some of the best SEA teams in the world. Despite the fact that it was held during the COVID-19 pandemic, this event had a very respective $50,000 prize pool. Nevertheless, there were some issues, mainly due to the high-ping of some players. Some TNC players had a really hard time playing, but that’s just something that teams need to put up with given the current situation.

The Grand Final

Fighting through the lag issues, TNC managed to make it to the Grand Final. Needless to say, their journey was not as easy as they would have hoped, as they had a very hard time in groups. As a result, they had to battle for their survival from the Lower Bracket.

Nonetheless, Fnatic were on another level today and gave their enemies no chances. The first game in this series was an absolute beatdown, as Fnatic gave TNC only thee kills, needing just 22 minutes to take the lead in the series. The second game was a lot better for TNC as they managed to give Fnatic a run for their money. Unfortunately, a series of mistakes gave Fnatic’s PA the chance to shine, and she failed to disappoint.

With their backs firmly against the wall, TNC tried to recover in game three, but to no avail. Fnatic stomped them once more by picking a devastating carry Lycan, securing the lion’s share of the prize pool.
