The Call of Duty League is a major shakeup of Call of Duty esports and the Launch Weekend is set to be one of the biggest gaming events of the year. Here is everything you need to know about the Call of Duty 2020 Launch Weekend!

When is the Call of Duty League Launch Weekend?

The opening matches of the inaugural Call of Duty League will take place on 24th – 26th January 2020. This will be the first major LAN tournament of the much-anticipated season that promises to change the face of Call of Duty esports.

Dates for all events next season have been released in the official Call of Duty League 2020 schedule:

Where is the Launch Weekend taking place?

CDL franchise Minnesota Rokkr, owned by WISE Ventures, will play host to the first tournament of the year. All the action will take place in The Armory located in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. The venue can hold around 8,400 and is sure to be packed out for the first major of the season.

If you are in the area and a fan of Call of Duty make sure to make your way down there for what will be an unmissable weekend of Call of Duty action.

How can I watch the Launch Weekend?

Tickets to the event can be purchased on “The Armory” website and are available in five different forms. The “Rokkr season pass” secures you tickets for both the Launch Weekend and the second Minnesota home series in May. With this season pass, you also receive first access to all seats and a range of merchandise provided by Minnesota Rokkr.

Another option is the “Valhalla VIP Pass” which gives you seats close to the action as well as other perks including a behind the scenes tour of the venue. Spectators can also purchase “Reserved floor seats” and “GA floor access”. Reserved seating will secure you a place in the venue whereas floor access is on a first-come-first-served basis.

If sitting down isn’t for you then a simple “Venue pass” may be the right option and is also the cheapest of the bunch. All prices and further details are available on “The Armory” website.

You can also view the action from the comfort of your own home as all matches will be streamed on the official Call of Duty Twitch channel.
